CAMP FACILITIES: We have 48 modern air-conditioned cabins, a dining hall to fit our entire camp in one seating, rec hall, covered basketball courts and hockey rink, 8 basketball courts, 12 tennis courts, a heated outdoor pool, two private lakes, an indoor theatre and social hall, our own private golf course, outdoor adventure ropes course and high climbing wall with high elements. We have 480 campers from all over the tri-state area and Florida, and provide a well-rounded camp experience, including sports, arts and electives, waterfront , outdoor adventure, camp spirit and a true summer family. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Tyler Hill has a full CIT program for campers entering the 11th grade. We provide unique and exciting leadership training, community service programs and travel and outdoor opportunities, in addition to our already full camp program.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Tyler Hill hosts various winter and spring get-togethers in New York, New Jersey and Florida for our campers to reunite and for new campers to connect with one another.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Camp fee includes 24-hour medical supervision, meals and snacks, American Diabetes Association Camp t-shirt, housing, supervised program activities and most diabetes supplies.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT Program: A CIT candidate must submit an application with two personal references and a medical reference. Space is limited for this position.

The role of a CIT is to assist counselors while working with younger campers. The CIT Program provides training for youth interested in working with kids, specifically as camp counselors. Participants are expected to interact thoughtfully and compassionately with younger campers; to commit to learning more about themselves, camp, and camp procedures; to be team members and to take on responsibility and leadership. CITs also have the opportunity to learn a basic understanding of diabetes and its care.

The primary goal of the CIT Program is to offer a fun and supportive experience that will develop confidence, commitment, and community. The program focuses on helping youth become future leaders by developing communication, teamwork and leadership skills. CITs will leave ready to become camp counselors.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Regardless of a family's ability to pay for Camp, the American Diabetes Association is committed to providing a camp experience to children living with diabetes. Financial assistance is available to families so every child with diabetes can have an opportunity to attend. Families MUST be registered first to apply for financial aid.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
ADA Camp Freedom offers a unique opportunity to teach and learn more about diabetes, diabetes management, and how kids cope diabetes. As a counselor, you will develop skill-building ventures by working as a team with campers-managing their diabetes, medical staff and other counselors in an outdoor recreational environment 24 hours a day.

We hold a comprehensive orientation, training, and supervision — that assists you in preparing for and delivering the best service possible to our campers. The experience our counselors have at Camp Freedom is truly meaningful work and the real chance to make a difference in the lives of kids with diabetes. Camp counselors have the opportunity to either volunteer for the weeks or receive a small stipend.

It is United Methodist affiliated, and open to all Christian denominations. Lodging ranges from luxury private rooms to family-style lodges and cozy cabins, with delicious meals for up to 350-400 guests. The Inn and Lodge have kitchens, lounges, fireplaces. Cabins have lounge/common area and 16-24 beds, mini-fridge and coffeepot/or full kitchen.

Outdoor sports facilities include basketball, volleyball, sand volleyball, baseball/softball, tennis, swimming pool, soccer, archery, shuffleboard, mountainboarding, & an 18 hole disc golf course. Multiple hiking trails, campfire sites, and sports fields are located throughout the campus. Ga-Ga ball, and 9-square in the air are also offered.

Camper-counselor ratios are 4:1 and include both paid and volunteer counselors who are screened and trained prior to working with campers. Not only is it challenging and fun, the Jumonville Adventure Program is an outstanding tool for building teamwork, confidence, and problem-solving in life-changing ways.

Children, youth, adults and families may come for a week of recreation, inspiration, and adventure for a very reasonable rate. In addition, scholarship help is available for those who want to come, but the full cost would be a hardship.
It is easy to step back in time while exploring the area's rich history and heritage. Jumonville Glen was the site of George Washington's first battle, and a small museum of artifacts has been preserved from the French and Indian War that followed.

In addition, the state operated an Orphan School on the property after the Civil War. The beautiful campus, 19th century stone buildings, and flagstone walkways reflect the rich past of this mountaintop, and yet still offer exceptional lodging, comfort and modern conveniences. Camp has always been a great way to make new friends, grow in faith, and experience the best fun of the summer with something for everyone to enjoy!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Why settle for ordinary when you can strive to be INCOMPARABLE? The reimagined 2022 Incomparable Marching Band Workshops immerse participants of all experience levels in an educational setting that fosters individual progress and inspires growth as performers AND people!

Student participants will work with our educational team to develop performance techniques and leadership skills in their area of emphasis (Drum Major, Winds, Color Guard, Battery Percussion, Front Ensemble). Participants will also engage in a collaborative and goal-oriented full-ensemble environment while assembling a Capstone Demonstration to be performed at the conclusion of the Workshop!

DRUM MAJOR TRACK goes beyond the basic 4 pattern . Drum Major students will learn strategies and techniques that develop presence, communication skills, musicianship, and more! In addition to fostering skills on the podium, Drum Major track participants will engage in leadership clinics each day that foster a heightened awareness of how the lessons learned in marching band can be successfully deployed in everyday life.

BRASS AND WOODWINDS are featured in this track of our Incomparable clinics. Students will focus on developing individual musicianship, ensemble skills, and visual performance techniques with our featured clinicians. Participants will engage in daily leadership clinics that encourage personal growth and help each student reach their full potential both on and off the field!

FRONT ENSEMBLE are the focus in this clinic track. From vibraphones to rack city, students will receive focused sessions on musicianship, technique development, and contemporary performance styles that they can incorporate into their home programs. Leadership as a personal and group concept is a daily topic in this track (

BATTERY PERCUSSION students will focus on technique, uniformity, and musicianship during their dedicated clinic sessions. Additional daily sessions in leadership and personal responsibility round out the week for percussion students during their Incomparable clinic experiences!

Spin. Toss. Catch. These fundamentals will be the focus of the COLOR GUARD track at the Incomparable Marching Band Workshops. Clinicians will also lead sessions on body movement, ensemble work/uniformity, and visual musicianship. Daily sessions in leadership will show each student that their personal leadership affects the entire ensemble and how to capitalize on those strengths . Whether you have 5 people in your color guard, or 50, students in this track will gain many skills and tools to take back to their squad.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We offer a Educator/Director Track for College Students and Marching Band staff

Our Educator/Director track will tackle topics such as: drill design (Ultimate Drill Book will be ON SITE), building a strong retainment program, group travel, assessment and adjudication, issues related to diversity, equity & Inclusion, and many more. This track will encourage peer connection, network development, and world-class presenters to meet you where you are and get your program to where you want to be.

This two-day workshop can be a stand-alone or add-on (just select “Premium Package”) to any of our existing tracks. This leadership intensive experience is built for anyone looking to enrich their leadership skills. Interspersing interactive clinics with classroom-style instruction gives each student an opportunity to develop active listening skills, interpersonal development, positive attitudes, self-discipline, and much more.

CAMP FACILITIES: George School is oaks and hemlocks, dogwoods and redbuds. It’s cleome blossoms in the bushes and clover in the grass. It’s running paths through the woods and Frisbee on the lawns. It’s red brick buildings, old wooden desks, wireless internet.

George School is the solar-powered Alternative Energy Center. It’s a Philadelphia meetinghouse from 1812 conserved and moved to our campus. It’s future-minded sustainability and a Zen-ish bear hug of the present. It’s hundreds of research databases and ebooks at the library, 600 seats at the arts center, and one-on-one meetings with a teacher.

SUMMER BEGINNER DANCE CAMP - In two action packed weeks of camp, students ages 7 and up who have little or no training in ballet and other dance forms will learn the basics of Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop in a fun and creative atmosphere, focusing on basic positions and movements and allowing for creativity. At the end of camp students will perform their new talents for family and friends. The program will be taught by the popular Karina Banks.

PRE-BALLET DANCE CAMP - Dancing Fairy Tales, for ages 4-6, will feature favorite stories from around the world explored dynamically through dance.
This one week dance camp will foster your child's creativity by using creative dance and Ballet as a springboard into exploration and discovery—expressing stories, ideas and dreams that go beyond performing a series of steps. The program will be taught by our pre-ballet teacher Cara King.

SUMMER BALLET INTENSIVE - The Summer Ballet Intensive is for intermediate and advanced ballet students. The program stresses the highly structured Vaganova syllabus and closely resembles the program of study adhered to in the former Soviet Union.
Students should bring a bag lunch and yoga mat.
The program is for students ages 10-22 with at least two years training in ballet.
Taught by various teachers, including Elena Tiuriakulova, Yosbel Delgado, Nancy Malmed, Donald Lunsford, Svetlana Zherdova, Carly McDade, and SPECIAL GUEST from the Donetsk Ballet, Irina Komarenko.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
The counselors have the most direct impact on a child’s experience at camp. We are seeking dedicated, fun, enthusiastic staff who understand that “Campers Come First.” Counselors must be at least 18 years of age or have graduated from high school. All counselors will teach in one of our program areas and co-lead a cabin of 8-12 children. Pay is $250-$275 per week depending on experience.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Being a CIT at YMCA Camp Soles gives you a unique training opportunity that will serve you well should you ever desire to return as a camp counselor, work in day care or after-school programs, or become a coach or mentor for younger kids. Our CIT program is specifically designed for teens who are interested in working with kids. We teach critical counseling skills, behavior management, and instruction techniques.

Being a CIT is about learning practical skills that you will hone at camp. For example, you will work with our staff as assistant instructors in the various program areas across Camp Soles. You will also be assigned a cabin to help with everything from running activities to working with homesick campers. Camp is after all about learning through positive relationships and our counselors are role models for our CITs as much as they are for campers.

Realizing that different families have different abilities to pay, we created a three tier pricing program. Based on an honor system, your family chooses which tier you can afford. At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Here you will be able to put your experiences, abilities, creativity and energy to work and discover the talents within yourself as you touch the lives of those around you. The YMCA of Greater Brandywine has many job opportunities including seasonal, part-time and full-time, each featuring incredible benefits and coworkers that will quickly feel like family.

CAMP FACILITIES: Your students will be safely housed in a dorm room at Millersville University and will have all of the same amenities as they would in a hotel. Each dorm room will include a private sink, shower and bathroom. Three meals a day are included with the tuition, and there is a full use kitchenette in the dorms with a microwave, stove and refrigerator. For an additional boarding fee, parents are welcomed to stay in an adjoining dorm room and will also receive a meal plan. At the end of week one, a special picnic will occur between the students, faculty and any family members. For a small additional fee a trip to Hershey Park will also be planned if enough members attend. All of the dancers will featured in a final performance on Friday July 21, 2017.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Viktor Yeliohin (Director) is a former soloist with the Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine. He is a Ballet master, Professor of Choreography and Studio Director with a career spanning more than 20 years.

Vadim Pisarev, trained at the Kiev Chorographical School and was given the honor and highest title of "People's Artist of the Ukraine." He is one of many well trained dancers that will be teaching throughout the summer program.

Inna Dorofeyeva, a native of the Chuguyev in Ukraine, Ms. Dorofeyeva studied at the Kiev Choreographic School under the tutelage of Varvar P. Mey. Formally a Principal Dancer of the Deutsche Oper Am Rhein in Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, she quickly gained international attention.

Cody Smith, has been dancing professionally for 16 years. In New York, he has been a member of the ensemble of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for the past 11 years. He has also assisted in numerous Broadway workshops and many regional and touring companies.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Sequoia is very fortunate to call The Perkiomen School campus our summer home. Pennsburg is a suburban area approximately a one hour drive northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. The proximity of many educational and recreational activities to Pennsburg make our weekly out of camp trips very convenient.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Perkiomen School offers a wide array of playing fields and outdoor athletic facilities such as tennis and basketball courts. An indoor, competition size swimming pool, multiple gyms and top notch art facilities are just a few of the indoor highlights. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The LIT program meets the need for young people ages 16-17 who are not yet ready for a summer job and need help developing their social thinking skills, independent skills and job readiness skills. Camp Sequoia's Leader-In-Training program provides a safe and supportive environment for our LIT's to learn and practice these important skills.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The National Jazz Workshop faculty represents the best jazz educators and performers from Washington, DC, an area known worldwide as one of the nation’s most prestigious and innovative centers for jazz performance. Throughout the week students will receive instruction and coaching from National Jazz Workshop staff that is focused on raising the level of performance of each participant. The main goal of the workshop is to provide participants with the resources and direction to further develop and expand their individual skills throughout the year.

She has been dancing for over 19 years throughout the East Coast training with professional instructors from the STEPS on Broadway, Viktor Yeliohin International Ballet Academy, Broadway Dance Center, Lititz Academy of Dance, and VanDyke & Company. She has had the privilege to work and perform with companies such as Piercing Word, PRiMA Theatre, the Ballet Theater of Lancaster, and Cojomotion.

Natalie has been a featured dancer in local productions of Godspell, Aida, the Nutcracker, Pippin, Carousel, High Cotton, Thoroughly Modern Millie, A Season for Wishes, Cats, A Christmas Carol, The Secret Garden, Once Upon This Island, The Wizard of Oz, The Red Poppy, and Sleeping Beauty. Natalie has choreographed in the Lancaster area for VYIBA, the America-Ukraine Summer Ballet Camp, and Millersville University’s All Campus Music Organization. Natalie is thrilled to work with students in the Lancaster area and is excited to pursue her passion of the arts by helping others to grow as dancers and performers.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Broadway Dreams Foundation is a week-long day intensive where our students work with a faculty of Broadways finest. During the course of the week,the students will be trained in classes and have rehearsals with the staff in order to prepare for the showcase that is presented at the end of the week to family friends,and industry agents!

On the last day of the intensive,students will audition for Telsey and Co as well as other Casting Agency's. More than 3,000 students have participated in Broadway Dreams programs.

Chestnut Lake has been designed to emulate the traditions and excellence of Trail’s End while providing your family with the flexibility of 3-week or 6-week alternatives. In 2008, Chestnut Lake opened its gates as the Northeast’s premier session camp located in the northeast corner of Pennsylvania, just 2 ½ hours from NYC and Philadelphia.

Chestnut Lake offers boys and girls a brand new, state-of-the-art facility along with creative day and evening programming. Chestnut Lake is an all around camp with a strong sports program. Whether your child is an athlete or an artist, Chestnut Lake has the activities and staff that will Bring Out the Best in every camper!

We have 4 heated pools (2 with slides), a wading pool, basketball courts,softball and soccer fields, a 1 acre lake for boating and fishing, a challenge ropes course and much, much more!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a modern dorm and two modern longhouse facilities, as well as two more rustic dorms. We have a large Dining Hall facility, and a brand new Children's Ministry Building (fit for indoor sports and recreation, as well as meeting places). Additionally, the camp has 200 privately owned cottages, three large RV lots, a large soccer field and baseball field, disc golf and mini golf courses, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a gaga ball pit. There are two tabernacles, the Main Tabernacle and Youth Tabernacle, for services. The Susquehanna River serves as a great place for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and tubing.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mahaffey Camp offers a variety of programs, from summer youth camps and family camp to year-long retreats and events. Our staff is a dedicated group of people who are passionate about serving campers of all ages and leading them to a vibrant experience with God. Our mission is "to reach others with the Gospel and teach them about the Lord." Mahaffey Camp aims to be "A Christian Center for Spiritual Growth." Mahaffey Camp is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Those who wish to be considered as Counselors or Jr. Counselors should contact the camp office promptly, as available positions fill up quickly. Counselors and Jr. Counselors are required to attend a mandatory Counselor Training weekend, held at the end of May or beginning of June. FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Mahaffey Family Camp takes place during the last full week of July every year; in 2018, the dates are July 20 through 29. Events and services are offered for all age groups throughout the 10 days. Special events include a 5k race, Motorcycle Rally, Missionary Rally, Women's Day, Children's Penny Parade, Baptismal Service, and Gospel Concert. The camp store and Dining Hall are open for meals every day, and the craft store (selling merchandise and handmade crafts to benefit camp) is open daily. Dorm Accommodations are available, as well as RV and tent sites. Different types of services are offered, including Adult morning and evening services, prayer and healing services, Teen morning and evening services, Children's ministries, and Fresh Breeze afternoon service.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Youth Camps are held in the summer, while many retreats are held throughout the rest of the year. Mahaffey offers a variety of different retreats and events, including Applefest, Quilt Retreats, Scrapbook Retreats, Men's Link, Prayer Retreat, Mother / Daughter Retreat, REPLENISH (youth winter retreat), and private horsemanship lessons. Eileen is an award-winning Director and Choreographer and a former Broadway performer and Rockette. She directed and staged the Radio City Christmas Spectacular touring productions for 9 years. She has served as Artistic Director of the Rockette's Summer Intensive Program and as Associate Producer for the theater company, Reagle Music Theater in Boston and as director for the annual Bradley Awards at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Eileen was in the Broadway casts of 42nd Street, Will Rogers Follies, and in the international tour of My One and Only (with Tommy Tune). Her television credits include the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, One Life to Live, Macy's Parade, Kennedy Center Honors, Late Show with David Letterman, and Oprah.
